Pete Zagami has worked in the insurance industry for more than thirty years. After returning from his service in the U.S. Air Force, serving two tours of duty in Viet Nam, Pete resumed his life in his home town of San Diego, where he received his B.A. degree in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish. In 1979, Pete graduated from San Diego State University and went to work as a captive agent for The Cal Farm Insurance Company. He worked there for seven years before leaving the Company to work for an Independent Insurance brokerage. Pete worked at the brokerage for four years, and liked the idea of the Insurance Brokerage business model, where an Agent/Broker has access to numerous insurance company options and can shop for the best product to suit his clients' needs. In 1988, Pete Zagami decided to start his own agency and Aslan Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded. Pete is both an Agency Owner and a Producer. Pete writes all lines of insurance, and looks forward to servicing all of your insurance needs. When he's not in the office, you will find Pete on the tennis court, where he still plays competitively. He captains both adult and senior teams.
